Crafted with passion and a touch of Sicilian soul.

Giorgio’s Artisan Cheese launched into a crowded category dominated by traditional takes on Italian styling. But Giorgio Linguanti’s story was different. A young Sicilian who arrived in Australia with no English and a dream to make cheese. The brand needed to feel just as bold, modern and personal.

Rather than rely on nostalgic visuals or rustic shorthand, we built the brand around Giorgio himself – his hand-drawn signature, his passion, and his unapologetic individuality. Vibrant colour blocking, playful food illustrations, and charming piazza scenes brought warmth and appetite to a category full of beige. The result is packaging that balances premium cues with human character – distinctive at a glance, and memorable on repeat.

Since launch, Giorgio’s has become a standout success. Coles praised it as a “best-in-class example of deli category reinvention,” with strong shelf presence, growing sales, and plans for export and new SKUs already underway. More than just looking delicious, Giorgio’s has shown how founder-led storytelling and expressive design can drive both connection and commercial growth.

We didn’t want to look like every other Italian cheese. Disegno helped us create something modern, vibrant, and true to who I am.
