Note Printing Australia

NPA is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Reserve Bank of Australia and was corporatised in 1998. Having printed Australia’s banknotes since 1913, NPA first introduced polymer banknote technology in 1988 and now prints currency for more than 20 countries worldwide. This world leading technology has seen NPA also develop and produce Australia’s passports since 2003 – widely regarded as the most secure in the world.
