Olex Cables were a foundation client of Disegno back in 1995 when we first opened our doors. More than two decades later, we are still the custodian of their brand. In that time, we have worked with a number of marketing teams to deliver continued brand growth across three key life-stages of the business. We developed the brand identity, product segmentation strategy and positioning ‘Connecting with the future’, establishing the platform for growth and launch into China. We refreshed the brand again in the early 2000’s to communicate a new era with a diversified product offering. And since 2007 when the business was acquired by the world’s largest cable manufacturer Nexans, we have been working on bringing the brand into the digital age with projects like the Nexans Olex Handbook App which today has over 40,000 downloads.
