Cadbury saw an opportunity to launch a new product that would meet an unmet market need. Based on the consumer insight that consumers were customising their dessert occasion by using confectionary they loved, the concept of sprinkles would deliver what consumers wanted in a convenient format.
Working with power brands such as Oreo, Flake and Crunchie, we needed to find a solution that respected each brands individual equities while delivering a range that was cohesive in look. We leveraged each brands distinctive colour for recognition at shelf, while the power brand dominant brand relationship is balanced by the uniformity of the hero ice cream cone where each product is allowed the opportunity to shine in a dynamic, confectionary way.
Sprinkles have now found their way into major retailers. Look out for them in the dessert toppings aisle.
